Basically Reiki follows the intent of the Healer & can be beneficial for pretty much everything in life. It's normally done via in-person healings, with the massage bed & everything. I can't do that (my EDS3 wrecks me too much to be able to do that). So I do ALL my Reiki work via distance. With the use of the Reiki 'long distance symbol', the fact that Reiki follows the intent of the Healer & that Reiki goes to where it's truly needed no matter what hand positions (during in-person healings) are used, it's how I've always done it.
