Why a forum?

Why I chose to replace a long time domain (cyberward.org.uk) with this forum?

There are a few reasons I went for a forum, these are as follows:
1. I got fed up of paying domain & monthly hosting fees. Money is getting tight & with cost of living going insane right now, it was time to change things up.
2. I've always preffered forums over i.e. Wordpress sites/blogs etc... While I know some HTML, creating a forum from scratch, with all coding needed, was a bit too far over my head.
3. Users can read posts/threads without creating a user account on forum. They can also create a user account if they wish to.
4. It's easier to interact with users/readers of a forum.
5. Sections can be added/removed/re-arranged/edited/upgraded easily.
6. I get a break from HTML coding, which does get complex & headache inducing at times.
7. It's free.
8. Forums as a rule have no limit as to how many posts it can contain.
9. It's easier to get feedback via forums.
